Robert Scholten is a freelance illustrator and artist based in Melbourne, Australia. He graduated from Swinburne University with an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Arts and from RMIT with a Masters of Fine Arts. Inspired by sources such as ukiyo-e, typography, comics, paintings, printed ephemera and everyday life, Robert creates illustrations that contribute to the visual tapestry of the contemporary world through the lens of pop culture.
In his free time, Robert loves exploring art through galleries, comic books and movies. Above all, he loves traveling, playing basketball and drawing in his sketchbooks.
